Ray is our Master Framer, Furniture Restorer, and Furniture Maker, with more than 38 years of experience in archival framing, woodworking, and furniture making. He oversees our framing workshop and holds a Certificate III in Picture Framing.
Ray can frame almost anything. His creativity and technical expertise enable him to develop framing solutions for even the most unusual or treasured items, including coins, medals, sporting memorabilia, formula 1 racing suit, textiles, and ceremonial garments.
He is also passionate about restoring wooden furniture and takes great pride in giving old or damaged pieces a new lease on life.
His craftsmanship is exceptional, with extensive experience restoring a wide variety of furniture, including cane chairs,
tables, cabinets, and chests of drawers.

Louise is a qualified Picture Framer, artist, and graphic designer with extensive experience in art restoration and repair. She undertakes much of our artwork restoration and conservation
work and has an exceptional eye for detail.
Whether repairing damaged artwork, restoring faded pieces, or advising on the perfect frame design, Louise brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project. She also provides expert guidance on frame selection, mat design, colour coordination, and interior styling, helping clients achieve the perfect presentation for their artwork and living spaces.
Visual Artist | Graphic Designer | Apprentice Picture Framer
Suba brings a strong background in Visual Arts and Graphic Design to the team. She specialises in art and digital restoration and enjoys creating custom colour-matched frames that perfectly complement and enhance artworks.
Working alongside Ray, Suba is involved in frame restoration and traditional gold gilding. She also has a keen interest in 3D printing and has designed and produced custom pieces for
clients with unique display and framing requirements.
Suba enjoys combining traditional craftsmanship with modern creative technologies.
Textile Artist | Upholstery Specialist | Apprentice Picture Framer
Rachael is a talented textile artist with excellent design skills and a natural ability to help customers create beautiful framing solutions. She is also a highly skilled seamstress and manages many of
our upholstery projects.
Her previous experience in customer service has given her outstanding communication skills, allowing her to work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver personalised results.
Rachael is currently in her first year of a Picture Framing apprenticeship and continues to expand her expertise in conservation and framing techniques.
Apprentice Picture Framer | Cartoonist
Trent is in his second year of a Picture Framing apprenticeship
and is also a talented cartoonist. He plays an important role in the everyday operation of our workshop, handling much of the
day-to-day framing production and finishing work.
Known for his keen eye for detail and commitment to quality,
Trent takes immense pride in his work. Every frame is carefully checked before leaving the workshop, ensuring it meets the highest
standards of craftsmanship and presentation.
